Floorball

Yeehaw, here again. Last Friday we saw some most interesting matches of floorball as our school's team literally wiped the floor with the opposition, as the first game ended 18 - 1 in our favor, and even then the other team only got that one point because our boys made a mistake and they themselves put that ball in our goal!

And in the second game, the onslaught continued. The game was pretty even until 5-5, when we got the upper hand and quickly it turned to 12-6 and so on. And with that, our boys got on the next matches, hope they can pull it off. Keeping my fingers crossed for them!

Oulugospel

Yeehaw, more meaningless ramblings. Last weekend, a bunch of our youngsters went to Oulu, where the great gospelmusic event was held. Well okay not that great on international standards but anyway. There were some great bands like Dissonanssi and Bass'n'Helen. We went by bus and the trip took two to three hours just to one way, and we came back same evening, ugh.

There were some workshops too, but personally I didn't go to any of them, but instead just parkhoured and runned around the city for that time. You wouldn't believe how fun it is to go crazy under those mighty bridges, making tricks and just plainly playing around. A disguised policeman actually thought me and Pyry to be criminals, as we paused for breath at Oulu Arena. He thought we were making graffitis.

But for now that's it this time, I'll update if I can torture, I mean, persuade the others to share their feelings and experiences.

Starting up ( i.e. what the heck am I gonna write about?)

Here we go then, with a brand new blog of our own. Here's some things from top of our hats.

This blog was almost a failed attempt, as we had some *cough* TECHNICAL problems... *cough* (not our fault, seriously...)

Autumn has finally come and with it comes darkness. Days are getting shorter all the time and it's causing some angst amongst us. Test week's coming too and it seriously ain't helping with that. Of course, after it there's some time to shrug it off...

Then there are some rumors flying about the senior dances, there being so few patricipants this year. Let's keep our thumbs up for them, because it would be a really big disappointment for our second years if they weren't held :/ And it's always nice to watch people dancing.

All the while, Halloween's coming too ( but it's merely seen in the little decorations on the dining hall's walls :P ) and the government of student association has some little fun planned for it. Let's see what they come up with.

Oh no, swine flu's on it's way. Soon we're starting the vaccinations here too and it should be fine with that. That's what they say, of course. Who knows. So now we just wait and see what will happen, hope it blows over without too much trouble...
